Pictured here is a photography skills showcase that was also an assignment for the media scholars program. It was part of an exercise on how to take professional looking photos, as taught by a photo journalist. My photo, on the right, shows a student patting the top a statue of UMD's mascot, as it is a tradition for good luck, especially during midterms.
